POMEGRANATES
The two friends had planted their first pomegranate trees at the beginning of 2017. When selecting the variety, several factors were decisive: taste, appearance and time of harvest.
The decision was made in favour of the Smith variety. It has a balanced taste. Sweet, but with the typical bitter aroma.
The Smith variety also has a unique red colour, both inside and out. It is also a protected variety, i.e. the plant licenses are limited.
The harvest time begins usually by the middle of September until beginning of October.
